This Friday sees Got Balls return with another crazy and wonderful Bingo extravaganza. That’s right, you read it correctly, Bingo. Their themed bingo disco parties have now grown to a capacity of 400 in Sheung Wan’s Western Market. Their upcoming event, Got Balls: Now That’s What I Call Summer, will be held this Friday, 5th July.

Got Balls, a themed Bingo night, was started within the walls of Campfire, Wong Chuk Hang. The team of 3 had their first event and sold over 150 tickets in March 2018. Not only did it promote the co-working space to a new wave of creatives in Hong Kong, but it also became a much loved home to the infamous event and it’s team.

We caught up with co-founder, Fern, to find out why the team chose Campfire for their first event space. “I was talking to a friend of mine about potential venues to have Got Balls and she suggested looking at some co-working spaces. I looked at a few on Hong Kong Island and was a bit reluctant at first to go to Wong Chuk Hang, however I was pleasantly surprised at how accessible it was with the MTR and Bus links. The space itself was perfect for our event. It was open, had a built in bar and even an outdoor area on the same floor. The team at Campfire were an absolute dream to work with, they even went out of their way to help us source more tables for our event. If we hadn’t grown so quickly, I have no doubt we would still be in there, the warehouse vibe helped make our events cool and a little bit different to everything else out there.”

Their last event in Campfire, Wong Chuk Hang was in December 2018, it sold out (over 200 tickets) in less than 48 hours. After that, the Got Balls team sadly had to pack up shop and move their event location to Sheung Wan. They now deal with over 400 attendees and have managed to sell-out every event they’ve ever held. If you haven’t already got tickets to this Friday’s event, we suggest you don’t wait any longer.

Tickets are $425 HKD and include free-flow drinks throughout the night as well as guaranteeing you laughter, dancing, a whole bunch of great prizes and a night you won’t forget. The doors open at 7:30PM and the games begin at 8:00PM.
